The late LAWRENCE RANDOLPH BALDERAMOS was born on the 5th day of September, 1929 and passed away on the 20th day of May, 1997, after a prolonged bout with cancer. He was a prominent lawyer and a founding partner of the firm.
Ronnie, as he was affectionately known, graduated from St. John’s College in 1945 and served as book-keeper at C. Melhado & Sons between 1946 and 1949. He joined the civil service as a junior clerk in 1949 and worked his way up through the ranks. He was promoted to Second Class Clerk in 1952 and was promoted to First Class Clerk in 1956. In 1958, he was promoted to work in the Titles Offices and in 1963 was promoted to Deputy Registrar and Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court. He distinguished himself as an exemplary public officer of integrity. He acted as Magistrate on numerous occasions and served in that capacity throughout the country. He also was appointed a District Commissioner in both the Corozal and Orange Walk Districts in Belize. He also acted as Registrar General and Registrar of the Supreme Court on numerous occasions.

He was appointed and enrolled as a Notary Public in 1975 and established the Law Firm of Musa & Balderamos with Said Wilbert Musa in May of 1978.
Ronnie touched the lives of everyone who came into his path with his kind and gentle ways and with an understanding and unselfish concern for others. He was often admired for his modesty, his willingness to always lend a sympathetic ear to anyone in need of consolation or advice, and his painstaking research. He had a meticulous and cautious approach to certain areas of the law, particularly the law of property and conveyancing and the law of banking, and was often consulted by junior and senior attorneys for his opinion, advice, and guidance.
He is surely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing him.
